Massage is defined as the systemic and scientific manipulation of the soft tissues of the body. Therapeutic touch has been practiced for thousands of years in all regions of the globe.

Heather Kirkpatrick, Certified Massage Therapist, originally from Richmond, graduated from Advanced Fuller Massage School in 2000. She has continued her education in body-mind awareness, neuromuscular technique, pathology, orthopedic conditions, and Lee Albert's Positional Therapy. She has worked with clients in fitness facilities, spas, and with patients in physical therapy clinics. She has also worked at the Peninsula Cancer Institute. She specializes in orthopedic conditions and injuries. Specialized techniques include deep tissue massage and neuromuscular massage. Other massage services available are prenatal, sports, abdominal, Swedish relaxation massage, and reflexology for the feet.
